Hi guys!, im new in the community
We are currently developing an app for the TC51, we work with a large quantity of devices located in different places witch acces to WIFI, we need to keep this devices updated with the newest version of the app, something like launching a remote app update in all the devices
wich will be the best approach ? if the APK is located in a central repository?
PD:i read that the StageNow app , can do something like this , but all the devices need to be in the same network
Thx in advance
Cheers
Hi Ramon,
Depending on the quantity of devices you might want to consider using an EMM to help with managing your applications and devices. Zebra's partner page to find EMMs is Mobile Device Management Solutions | Zebra
To use StageNow, Ian has a number of posts to use a centralized FTP server (the most recent one is here: )
Do those & Ian's earlier posts meet your needs?

You're really going to want to use an EMM for APK distribution if the devices are in remote locations. StageNow can be effective but it was never designed to be an EMM.
